Terms & Conditions

My Rides FL · Last Updated June 2026

Service

My Rides FL is a reservation-only private car service operating in Northeast Florida, including Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra, Nocatee, and surrounding areas. All rides require an advance reservation. By booking, you agree to the terms below.

Mileage Rates

Mileage fares are based on passenger count, with a minimum fare per trip:

Distances are calculated by the most direct practical route between your pickup and drop-off addresses.

Hourly & Event Rates

For events, multi-stop trips, and hourly bookings, billing is by time rather than distance:

After-Hours Surcharge

Rides scheduled between 11:00 PM and 5:00 AM are subject to an after-hours surcharge of an additional $0.15 per mile. This surcharge applies to mileage-based trips only (not hourly or event bookings). After-hours rides require at least 8 hours of advance notice.

Gratuity

Gratuity is added at checkout. A 15% gratuity is applied by default on mileage trips. Hourly and event bookings carry a 20% minimum gratuity. A custom gratuity amount may be entered at checkout.

Payment

Payment is collected at the time of booking through Stripe, our secure payment processor. Card details are entered directly with Stripe and never touch our website. A payment receipt is issued by Stripe once your charge is processed.

Cancellations & Refunds

Reschedules & Fare Differences

You may edit the date and time of an existing reservation. If a change increases the fare, the difference is collected before the ride is confirmed. If a change decreases the fare, the difference is refunded.

Flight Cancellations

If your airport ride is affected by an airline cancellation, you will not be charged a cancellation fee. When canceling, indicate the flight cancellation and provide your flight date, time, number, and carrier, and your fare will be fully refunded.

Refund Timing

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method through Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
