My Rides FL LLC (“My Rides FL”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. We collect only the information needed to provide your ride and process your payment, and we never sell your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the services that help us operate.
Booking a ride requires an account. To create one we collect your email address and a password. Passwords are stored only in encrypted form and are never visible to us.
Your account profile holds the details we need to collect you reliably: your first and last name, phone number, and a default pickup address including city, state, and ZIP code. You may optionally add an emergency contact name and phone number, and business customers may add a company name and job title. You can view and change any of this at any time from the My Account page.
When you make a reservation, we collect the details required to fulfil it: your pickup and drop-off addresses, the date and time of your ride, the number of passengers, any notes or special instructions you provide, and the fare for the trip. When you pay, our payment processor collects your card details directly.
We use your information solely to schedule and provide your transportation, check whether a requested time can be served, communicate with you about your reservation, process your payment, issue receipts, and keep a record of your trips so you can view them later.
We send you a confirmation email when a reservation is paid, and a reminder before your pickup. From time to time we may email you about changes to the service itself, such as a change of website or policy. We do not use your information for advertising.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We share information only with the service providers below, and only as needed to operate the service.
Each provider only receives the information necessary to perform its function.
When you sign in, your browser stores a sign-in token so you stay logged in between visits, along with a copy of your saved name, phone, and default pickup address so booking forms fill in for you. This information stays in your browser. Logging out, or clearing your browser data, removes it from that device — it does not delete your account.
All payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. My Rides FL never sees or stores your full card number.
We use reputable providers that encrypt data in transit and at rest, and access to reservation records is restricted. Our database is configured so that a signed-in customer can read only their own profile and their own reservations. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
We keep reservation and receipt records for as long as needed to run the business and to meet tax and accounting obligations. You may ask us to delete your account at any time.
Our service is intended for adults making travel arrangements. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. When a minor travels, the reservation is made and managed by a responsible adult.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information we hold about you by contacting us. You can update your own profile at any time from the My Account page, and you may ask to stop receiving service emails that are not related to a booking you have made.
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
